Puzzle #9 and Donation Update

I was fortunate not to really need my stimulus check so the only reasonable option was to direct money toward options to help others. In a previous blog I mentioned wanting to send 20 Pizza Hut $5 pizzas to people who needed food, but was unsure of how to do that. I really wanted not only to offer food, but maybe help a local business. Shortly thereafter, I received an email from my church which participates in our local interdenominational kitchen to serve those in need.

For years, churches in our community have taken turns to provide food for a noon meal for the hungry. With the current COVID19 situation, the church which always hosts the community meal, cannot allow food to be brought in and large groups cannot gather, but an arrangement was made with a local restaurant to provide box lunches at $5 each. A simple check helped to cover some of the need. Coincidence or God showing me what to do? I am confident I know the answer to that one!

I've also found a number of other worthwhile charities to which my donations have gone. I share this information not to boast, but to encourage everyone to give what they can.
